The Banksy House is an ultra-rare 1/1 cultural asset of epic proportions. The last remaining untouched piece left on The Street from Banksy’s Great British Spraycation series and √ERIFIED by BANKSY in his film of the same name.
We have engineered a deal to buy it, to keep The Banksy on the street where it belongs and use its value and meme to prototype a large-scale participatory public art project that brings Web3 art and culture to The Street and The Street onchain.
Our first mission is to transform the hometown of The Banksy House, an old seaside town in a forgotten corner of the world, into a global street art capital and use it as a prototype to build a DAO that proliferates PUBLIC ART AS A PUBLIC GOOD - IRL <> DIGITAL <> VIRTUAL <> ONCHAIN - on a global scale.

It’s probably the best-preserved Banksy art remaining on the streets, anywhere on the planet and the last untouched piece from Banksy’s definitive series The Great British Spraycation.
It’s an ultra-rare 1/1 piece and like all of Banksy’s street art, it’s at risk of being cut out of the wall, sold at auction and lost forever.
We want to save it, by buying The House and transforming it into a non-profit centre of excellence for street-based art, governed by a tokenised community, with a mission to proliferate PUBLIC ART AS A PUBLIC GOOD and bring it onchain.

THE DIGITAL AND VIRTUAL HOUSE
Preserving The House and The Banksy as a hi-resolution digital twin and metaverse destination.
1: THE DIGITAL TWIN
We have an archive of media, spatial data and 3D imagery captured from the interior and exterior of The House, and have aquired the exclusive IP rights.
Release multi-artist Genesis collection that docuements this state, each piece representing a spatial or digital artefct of The House
The collection will fund the capture of a hi-res laser scanned 3D digital twin of The House and The Banksy, bringing provenance onchain and owned by The Banksy House Estate.
A very simple plan
We create a perfect digital twin of the house and bringing ownership onchain.
Use it to raise money to enter into a contract to purchase the house with a short lease so we can move in, start a non-profit and commission the world’s best street artists and local artists to transform the hometown of The Banksy House into a globally recognised capital for street art, bringing provenance onchain.
We use the power of community and Web3 collaborative tools to make art, build tech and tell stories to raise the rest of the money to buy the house (we do have a more detailed plan)
When we buy The House we bring governance of The Banksy House on chain and launch a DAO with a mission to proliferate PUBLIC ART AS A PUBLIC GOOD.

Think Globally
Our long-term mission is to launch a DAO that governs a self-sustaining tokenised Public Art ecosystem that funds, produces and shares PUBLIC ART AS A PUBLIC GOOD that exists IRL <> VIRTUAL <> ONCHAIN.
This mission will be backed by the meme and value of The Banksy House which acts as a gathering point for a community of Collectors, Builders and Patrons to build value.
By prototyping on a local scale, we can develop our long-term vision to proliferate PUBLIC ART AS A PUBLIC GOOD internationally.
Prototype locally
We’ll prototype this plan in the hometown of The Banksy House to help transform the old seaside town in a forgotten corner of the world into a globally recognised street art capital.
We will commission some of the world’s most renowned street artists along with local street artists, to work in the town. Their pieces will be laser scanned to create perfect digital twins, preserving their provenance onchain and making them available to collectors.
The town will be our prototype for our long-term mission. If we can do it in Great Yarmouth, we can do it anywhere.
BUILDING THE VIRTUAL HOUSE.
The Metahouse is where we build The Virtual House model - a composable, customisable virtual analogue of The House designed to be interoperable between Open Metaverse platforms.
The Virtual Banksy House will become a core asset of THE ESTATE and will be owned by THE METAHOUSE. All 155 Houses of THE ESTATE will purchase a Virtual House and have the option to commission or purchase additonal customisations.
If you are a META-ARCHITECT, 3D ARTISTS or DESIGNER, SPATIAL DATA / XR / UNITY DEVELOPER we encourage you to apply for one of the first batch of METAHOUSE RESIDENT KEYS.
We also have opportunities for GUESTS and PATRONS to contribute to the funding and establish a stake in the METAHOUSE.
THE VISISON
(BE) NEVER BORING
We needed a Vision that connected the Banksy to the purpose of the community.
So we looked to Banksy himself for inspiration and discovered the quote on the left, from his book Wall and Piece.
Given that The Banksy is incorporated into a bus stop, we have come to believe that this quote may have inspired the piece and the art has been named ‘NEVER BORING’ as a nod to Banksy’s vision.
More importantly, this quote acts as a seed for designing The Banksy House Project and our Mission…

THE BUILDERS HOUSE (by invitation and application)
The Builder’s House is where we write the constitution, develop long-term strategy and prototype the governance model of The Banksy House. Part show ‘‘‘house’’’, part lab, part membership club for Web3 galaxy brains.
By invitation and on application from BUILDERS, FOUNDERS, COMMUNITY GARDENERS, TOKEN ENGINEERS, STORYTELLERS, WEB 3 GALAXY BRAINS and THEY WHO LIKE TO BUILD. -
THE METAHOUSE.
The Metahouse is where we build The Virtual Banksy House - a core asset of THE ESTATE project.
If you are a Meta-architect, 3D artist or designer, spatial data / XR / Unity developer we encourage you to apply for one of the first batch of RESIDENT KEYS.
We also have opportunities for PATRONS to contribute to funding of the house and establish a stake. -
HOUSE #1:
The mission of HOUSE #1 is to fund, create and govern the high resolution 3D spatial scan of The Banksy House.
This Virtual twin of The House and The Banksy will form a permanent DIGITAL ONCHAIN artefact of The House, capturing it’s value oin-chain.
THE WALL
Banksy was not the first CITIZEN to make their mark on THE WALL of The Banksy House.
The BUS STOP has been there for decades and THE WALL bears testament to the CITIZENS of Great Yarmouth, who have carved their marks, sigils and messages into the brickwork over the decades.
Then Banksy came along and left his mark.
The CITIZENS of The Banksy House continue that tradition with THE WALL, a collaborative art project that creates a digital layer of their own art on top of the existing wall - a community-created collection.
This collection will then be used to seed another project, which is currently under wraps.
THE BLANK HOUSE
THE SPATIAL INTERFACE BETWEEN THE PHYSICAL HOUSE AND BLOCKCHAIN
The Physical House will be 3D captured and the data used to build a composable Virtual House that will allow us to prototype projects that bridge experience, utility and value between physical and virtual space.
Our digital workspaces and governance structures will mirror the physical spaces of The House and The Street, enabling the community to exist across a common IRL<>DIGITAL<>VIRTUAL space.
The Virtual House will also become a mechanism for a spatial governance and squad ownership experiment.
THE CONUNDRUM OF THE TEMPORARY BUS STOP SIGN.
Transforming the Temporary Bus Stop sign into a conceptual art piece.
When Bansky dropped his collection in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area the crowds that gathered outside the house meant that they had to close the bus stop and move it up the road.
The Temporary Bus Stop sign was left behind to slowly rust until it was ‘curated’ into The Banlsy House collection. It currently resides in the garden shed of He Who Knows.
Is this just a worthless rusty old sign? Does it have value? How can we give it value bu adding art, tech and story? It is up to CITIZENS of The Banky House to decide and come up with a plan.
