THE MEME

Our Meme of Production was found in an old Banksy quote.

When we started to develop TheBanksy.House project we realised there were many directions that we could take the project.

Making 10,000 little NFTs of a wall was not an option we were interested in exploring.

One thing was certain, we would build community up, not hype down, so we needed a vision/mission/meme of production, that connected the art and the artist to the community and purpose, and created meaning beyond just collectively owning an ultra-rare cultural asset.

So we looked to Banksy for inspiration and discovered an old quote from his book Wall and Piece.

Just in case you haven’t been paying attention, The Banksy is incorporated into a bus stop, so there was an immediate connection to the quote and a good argument to suggest that it inspired the piece.

The art had a found name - it is now officially called ‘Never Boring’.

And had discovered our vision for the project.
